Terms of use – ChatVault Export
Effective date: 9 October 2026
These terms apply to ChatVault Export ("the app"), a Microsoft Teams app provided by Elektraset, s.r.o. ("we", "us"). By using the app you accept these terms. If you use the app for an organization, you accept them for that organization.
1. What the app does
The app lets a signed-in user export chats that the user is a member of, from Microsoft Teams to a ZIP file (HTML, JSON, CSV, a manifest and checksums). Admins can set an export policy and view an audit log.
2. Your responsibilities
- Use the app only for chats that you are allowed to export, and follow the rules of your organization (for example data protection, records and retention rules).
- Keep exported files safe. After download, you control the ZIP and its copies.
- Do not try to break, overload or reverse engineer the service, or use it to access data of other people without permission.
3. Microsoft 365
The app uses Microsoft Graph with the permissions that you or your admin grant. Microsoft's terms apply to your Microsoft 365 data. The app is not made, sponsored or endorsed by Microsoft. Microsoft and Microsoft Teams are trademarks of the Microsoft group of companies.
4. Completeness of exports
The app exports what Microsoft Graph returns for your account. Some content can be missing, for example messages that Microsoft Graph does not return, inline images, files of attachments, or chats where your permission has changed. The manifest and warnings in the ZIP show what was exported. The app is not a replacement for your organization's eDiscovery or retention tools.
5. Fees
The app is currently provided free of charge. If we introduce paid plans, we will tell you before any charge applies.
6. Availability and changes
We can change, suspend or end the app. We will try to give notice of material changes on this page.
7. Disclaimer
The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent that the law permits.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent that the law permits, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits or business. Our total liability is limited to 100 EUR or the amount that you paid us for the app in the 12 months before the claim, whichever is higher.
9. Privacy
Our privacy policy tells how we handle data.
10. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the country where Elektraset, s.r.o. has its registered office, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Mandatory consumer protection laws of your country still apply.
